On this FREE specialist first aid course your tutor will cover first aid for unconscious people, care of serious and catastrophic bleeding as well as more general first aid.
This course aims to:
Empower attendees with the skills to save lives
Make attendees more risk-aware,
Reinforce the dangers of carrying weapons
Teach skills to help yourself or others in a life-threatening emergency
Reduce weapon carrying and prevent street crime
The course will cover:
Accident prevention and approaching the scene
Recovery position
CPR
What to do in an emergency
Bleeds - minor & major
Catastrophic bleeding & the use of tourniquets
Packing a Wound
Head and Spinal injuries

Under 19s must be accompanied by an adult
