In this 3.5 hour workshop, our qualified first aid instructor will teach you all you need to know to help your family in an emergency. This course will cover how to provide first aid to children aged 4-10 years. Come alone, or bring the whole family!
You will learn how to:
Dress wounds
Care for sprains and breaks
Look after burns
Help a choking child
The recovery position
How to perform CPR on a child
The workshop will take place in the beautiful medieval Chapter House at Gloucester Cathedral. Level access throughout.
Tickets are free, although booking is required. Children with tickets must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult aged 19 years+. Bookings will close 24 hours before the time of the event.
This course is being delivered in partnership with Adult Education, to take part in the course you will be asked to fill in a registration form at the beginning of the session.
Please note: We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.
There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.
However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.
