Explore the Cathedral as both a centre for Christian belief behaviour and community, and a living evolving artistic expression of Christian worldviews. This 2hour workshop will encourage children to explore what the cathedral community believes, how they live, and their relationship to this historic building and it's artwork.

a day in the life of a monk. Follow in the footsteps of the monks who lived here as you explore the cloisters and monastic life in this 2 hour workshop. Dressing up involved. Can be adapted to include Bede/Saxons.

explore how the Cathedral interacts with the world and the wider community in this 2 hour workshop focussing on the biblical messages found in the church community and building as wwell as the impact these have on both people's every day actions, and when times get hard.

Explore the diversity of Christian belief and behaviour present in the Cathedral through this 2 hour workshop which focuses on the ceremonies which take place here, the diversity evident in both the building and those who use it, and the guidance available through the messages Jesus.

explore the Cathedral and medieval local history through the stories of four people who shaped it: Herny III, Edward II, the monks and the stonemasons. Can include crypt visit. Dressing up included.

explore the Cathedral in this 2 hour romp through it's history from william the conqueror to Henry VIII. Learn the stories which have shaped the building and city and gain insight on the locals who lived and worked here. Dressing up included. Can be adapted for a Tudor Focus.
