Who chooses what goes on a map? How do you see where you belong?
Join us for a workshop looking at place, starting with a talk by our own Cathedral Archivist and Librarian Becky Phillips as she covers the history of mapping, using examples from our very own Cathedral Library!!
Visitors will then get a chance to create their own map, or drawing of their life and community, taking inspiration from historic and cultural maps including historical, archaeological, orientation, fantasy and, star maps and songlines.
Workshop starts: 13.30 Running time: 2 hour, including break.

This event is part of the Gloucester Festival of Archaeology, which is Gloucester's contribution to the Council for British Archaeology's national Festival of Archaeology.
