Friends of Gloucester Cathedral are invited to Journey to Planet Mars at Gloucester Cathedral this October.
Experience the wonders of Planet Mars right here on Earth within the sacred walls of Gloucester Cathedral with Luke Jerram's Mars: War and Peace.
Friends are invited to see Luke Jerram's incredible seven metre sculpture of Mars up close in the Cathedral Nave, at a private view on 17th October. Be the first to gaze up at the red planet in all its atmospheric evening glory at this exclusive Friends' private view, prior to the Cathedral's public "Mars at Night" events.
Your visit will be accompanied by an immersive soundtrack, and the rotating artwork features detailed NASA imagery of the Martian surface.
This event is exclusively for Friends of Gloucester Cathedral and their guests. If you are not already a member of the Friends of Gloucester Cathedral, and would like to join, an application form can be found on our website: https://gloucestercathedral.org.uk/support/friends/join
