First Aid for Dogs

In this 2 hour workshop, our qualified first aid instructor will teach you all you need to know to help your dog in an emergency.
Come alone, or bring the whole family! Please note that due to the hands on nature of this course, we ask that you leave your dogs at home.

You will learn how to:
  • Dress wounds
  • Help a choking dog
  • How to perform CPR on a dog
The workshop will take place in the beautiful medieval Chapter House at Gloucester Cathedral. Level access throughout.

Tickets are £5 per group*. Please select under 'extras' the number of people in your group.
Children with tickets must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult aged 19 years+.
Bookings will close 24 hours before the time of the event. 
 
This course is being delivered in partnership with Adult Education, to take part in the course you will be asked to fill in a registration form at the beginning of the session.
*You may eligible for a free ticket if you are over the age of 19 and a UK/EEU resident in the last 3 years and one of the following: Unemployed/earning below £20,000 /retired; Learning disability; Mental health difficulty; qualified below a level 2 (less than 5 GCSES).

Please note:
We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.
There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.
However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.
