The Gloucester Cathedral Organ Festival has been rescheduled to give our newly installed organ additional time after its completion to settle, undergo final tuning and refinement ahead of its celebration. This will ensure performers and partners can get to know the instrument - and that audiences experience it at its very best. We’re pleased that most of the originally planned artists and partners will still be taking part.
We are honoured to welcome the internationally acclaimed conductor, organist and pianist Wayne Marshall OBE to Gloucester Cathedral for a special recital marking the unveiling of the Cathedral's magnificent new organ. Renowned worldwide for his virtuosity, versatility and electrifying musicianship, Wayne brings a global reputation and exceptional artistry to this landmark moment in the Cathedral’s musical life.
This celebratory performance forms part of the Gloucester Cathedral Organ Festival, showcasing the extraordinary capabilities of the new instrument. Join us for an unforgettable evening as we begin an exciting new chapter in the Cathedral’s rich musical tradition.
