This autumn, Poppy Fields will transform the beautiful setting of Gloucester Cathedral into a captivating display of light and sound.
This immersive installation marks the much-anticipated return of Luxmuralis to the Cathedral, following the sell-out success of Light Eternal in 2023 and reflects on the sacrifices of the First and Second World Wars, offering a message of peace and hope for the future. As we commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day and approach the season of Remembrance, this moving experience invites you to pause, reflect and remember.
Brought to life through moving imagery, as well as snippets of recorded poetry read by Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, Poppy Fields offers a moment of stillness in one of Britain’s most beautiful sacred spaces. Created by the world-renowned projection art gallery,
Luxmuralis.
