Gloucester Cathedral Organ Festival: Gala Concert

At the heart of Gloucester Cathedral's Organ Festival weekend is the landmark gala performance with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, conducted by Adrian Partington, Director of Music at Gloucester Cathedral, and featuring internationally acclaimed organist Thomas Trotter.

Saint-Saëns – Symphony No. 3 in C minor (“Organ Symphony”)

From the brilliance of Gigout to the grandeur of Saint-Saëns’ “Organ Symphony”, this is orchestral and organ music at its most thrilling — a fitting showcase for a magnificent new instrument.

A bar offering pre-concert drinks and light refreshments will be available before the concert on the beautiful College Green in front of the Cathedral.
