FOGC Lecture - A medieval loser? The trials and tribulations of Robert Curthose

Dr Gregory Lippiatt, a lecturer in medieval history at Exeter University who has a special interest in the Crusades, will give a talk on one of Gloucester Cathedral’s residents, Robert Curthose, also known as Robert Duke of Normandy. 

If you would like to view the effigy of Robert of Normandy before the talk, please meet in the West End of the Cathedral at 2pm. 

Light refreshments will be served after the talk.
